Activities in the Bohs lab: Phylogenetic analysis of the tribe Juanulloeae (Solanaceae). This group includes many rare or poorly collected species of tropical epiphytes with unusual floral morphologies often pollinated by bats.

Activities in the Bohs lab: Sequencing of Larnax and Deprea.
Research interests: studies in the reproduction and phylogeny of chili peppers (Capsicum spp.). One of my major interests is to understand the diversity of wild chilies and their relationships. More recently I got involved in molecular phylogenetic analysis in other Solanaceae genera, such as Deprea, Larnax and Salpichroa.
